Bilingual Accountant

• Process sales and purchase invoices
• Handling inventory accounting
• Ensure accurate recognition of inventory costs in line with supplier contracts, market conditions, and performance metrics
• Monitoring Operational Costs of Barges (OPEX)
• Co-lead the monthly and annual closing
• Maintain balance sheet accounts
• Monthly reconciliation and maintenance of accounts for further review and reporting
• Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures

• A relevant financial education
• 3-5 years of experience as Accountant or other position within finance
• Experience with inventory and operations accounting
• General IT proficiency, good Excel skills
• Fluent in written/verbal English and Spanish.
• CPA certification is a plus
• Highly motivated and eager to learn.
• Driven and proactive.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Deadline-oriented, with a capacity to handle time-sensitive tasks.
• Collaborative, with a readiness to engage with various stakeholders.
