Descripción del puesto
  • 3PL management support by conducting weekly touch points of status of freight and related issues.
  • Understand customer wide networks and transportation modes (FCL, LCL, FTL, LTL, Rail, Drayage, air freight, Ocean Containers, Parcel and Warehousing)
  • Proactive daily monitoring of all shipments
  • ,Responsible for shipment coordination for inbound & outbound of all MOT since booking until shipment delivery at final destination.
  • In case of missed milestones, tracking of the shipment and drive the corrective actions to ensure recovery of shipment and a timely delivery.
  • Manage the complete logistics process in terms of transportation planning & execution
  • Communicate with carriers, shippers and customer teams to ensure trucks are properly loaded and unloaded; provide detailed directions/instructions to carriers as needed.
  • Update receivers and customers on load status as appropriate
  • Understand daily capacity needs/opportunities and pro-actively communicate to appropriate leadership
  • Optimize operations across the regions securing capacity leverage with carriers/freight, forwarders including service provider lane allocation
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.
  • Proactive communication with stakeholders and peers
  • Managing the relationships with the logistics counterparts at the Commercial Organization, the Logistics Service Providers and central organizations of Supply Chain and IT to achieve business targets.
  • Ensure alignment of carrier capabilities and accountabilities with the warehouse.
  • Act as the first escalation point of contact with carriers/ freight forwarders to ensure shipment issues resolution quickly.
Requisitos
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in logistics, warehousing or transportation.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in warehousing, transport, logistics or similar roles.
  • SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Advanced English level is required.
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge
  • Proactive and curious mindset Good communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize
