- Lead and coordinate inbound/outbound flows, end-to-end optimization, and full compliance with quality, regulatory, sustainability, legal, and trade requirements.
- Drive data accuracy and quality assurance for master and transactional records, maintain system parameters, analyze transportation network performance, and adjust long-term schedules using demand forecasting and capacity calculations.
- Manage vendor relationships with Carriers, oversee invoicing and cost control, negotiate tariffs for incidental situations, and identify cost‑saving or process improvement opportunities through small projects and business case support for technology investments.
- Indirectly supervise and mentor operational teams within the BUs—support hiring, performance and compensation management, career development, and day‑to‑day process governance to deliver service, quality, and patient safety goals.
- Provide oversight for international transport activities, ensure the BU IWD teams are correctly following Standardized Philips Processes, following standardized Logistics SOPs, ensuring proper shipping documentation is consistently used across entire Philips Organization, and global service management, and stay current on technology trends to recommend improvements that enhance safety, efficiency, and compliance.
- Be the primary regional COE contact and escalation point for the Carriers under your ownership. Including forecasting issues, freight payment issues, etc.
- Proactively engage with all BU IWD & Procurement stakeholders within the Americas Region regarding carrier performance to contracted standards, carrier performance at shipment level, and carrier TMS performance KPIs.
- You posses a Vocational Education or bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent.
- You have 4+ years of experience with Vocational Education in areas such as Material Planning, Supply Chain Management or equivalent OR 1+ experience with bachelor's degree, preferably with understanding of supply chain or equivalent areas.
- You are knowledgeable in SAP, Transportation Management Systems, transportation analytics and AI usage.
- Capable of communicating effectively using the English language.
