- Serve as the primary regional representative of Maersk Cyber Security, ensuring business units have direct access to senior cyber leadership.
- Engage with LAM brands, Global Service Centers, stakeholders, and external forums.
- Identify stakeholder needs and submit them to the Cyber & Identity Platform for prioritization.
- Promote Cyber Security policies, standards, and secure-by-design practices across the region.
- Coordinate assessment and management of regional cyber risk posture, ensuring alignment with central Cyber teams.
- Act as escalation point for cyber services and support non‑technical incident investigations.
- Drive cyber awareness and risk‑based decision‑making across LAM business units and partners.
- Support secure, resilient business growth initiatives.
- Strong and continuous alignment between LAM stakeholders and Maersk Cyber Security.
- Clear visibility and representation of Cyber Security across the region.
- Effective and timely risk‑based decision making.
- Improved regional cyber risk posture through assessment, remediation tracking, and governance.
- High level of cyber awareness across business units and partners.
- Incidents (especially non‑technical) escalated, managed, and closed effectively.
- High‑quality, timely reporting to global Cyber teams.
- Representing Cyber Security in regional committees, forums, and external engagements.
- Gathering and prioritizing stakeholder requirements to improve Cyber & Identity services.
- Coordinating evaluation and reporting of cyber risks, including remediation and acceptance.
- Promoting compliance with Cyber Security policies and guiding principles.
- Leading cyber awareness efforts across Maersk and partners.
- Supporting incidents and ensuring proper alignment with central Cyber teams.
- Monitoring cyber threats relevant to Maersk brands in LAM.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field (preferred).
- Experience with North America region (CAN, USA. MEX).
- Security certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA (required).
- Minimum 5 years managing risk in a global organization.
- Strong functional knowledge of risk management, continuity, and security governance.
- Ability to demonstrate ROI and business value of security and continuity practices.
- Experience working in dynamic, decentralized global environments.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (required).
- Travel is expected for this role.
