A Senior DevOps Engineer serves as a critical bridge between development and IT operations, driving the design, implementation, and optimization of secure, scalable, and automated systems. This role combines deep engineering expertise with strategic thinking to streamline software delivery, enhance system reliability, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.The Senior DevOps Engineer leads efforts to build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, manages deployment infrastructure via virtual machine agents, and enforces best practices for secrets management through Azure Key Vault. With a strong grasp of the software development lifecycle and modern automation tools, this role ensures rapid, reliable, and secure releases to production.Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Advanced proficiency with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts) and VM-based deployment agents.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Bitbucket, and GitHub Actions.
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, CloudFormation, or Crossplane.
Proficient in scripting languages including PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ruby, Groovy, Unix Shell, and Perl.
Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, especially in Azure (VNet, NSGs, Load Balancers).
Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, including system administration, software installation, registry management, and package managers (e.g., apt, yum).
Familiarity with source control systems (Git) and branching strategies.
Working knowledge of development languages such as .NET, Java, and C#.
Experience with IDEs and toolsets like Visual Studio.
Understanding of web service protocols and formats: REST, SOAP, JSON, XML.
Hands-on experience with Azure Key Vault for secure secrets and configuration management.
