SAP MMTechnical ConsultantThe primary role of a SAP MM consultant is to implement, configure, and optimize the SAP MM module to support efficient procurement and materials management practices. You would play a critical role in helping organizations streamline their procurement and materials management processes, optimize inventory levels, and reduce costs. By leveraging the SAP MM module's capabilities, they contribute to efficient supply chain management, timely materials procurement, and effective inventory control, ultimately enhancing the organization's operational efficiency.We offer stability and flexibility to integrate into working groups and similar challenging projects for our clients also in the financial sector, both public and private (banks, insurance, etc.).Academic/training requirements:

Minimum academic training: Completed university, or training equivalent to a university baccalaureate or higher.
Primary area of professional training: Graduate in Computing, Information Technology, Systems, or related Engineering.
Secondary vocational training area: SAP, specific training in the solutions/software/module -such as certifications- are preferred.
4+ years of experience with at least 2 full-life cycle implementations.

Specific knowledge required:

Integration with SAP modules like quality management, warehouse management or financial accounting and controlling.
Implementing material planning and MRP, cycle counting, procurement processes like stock transfer orders, stock transfer, consignment, procure to pay process, schedule agreements, purchase requisition and orders, release strategies and workflows.
Integration using IDOCs, RFC, Webservices, CPI integration, and EDI.
Provide configuration, data migration, interface, and functional support as necessary.

Responsibilities/tasks to be executed according to the final role:

Collaborating with clients and business stakeholders to understand their materials management processes, procurement needs, and inventory management requirements.
Configuring and customizing the SAP MM module to align with the organization's procurement processes, inventory control strategies, and vendor master data management.
Implementing and optimizing procurement processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, request for quotations (RFQs), and vendor evaluation.
Creating and maintaining vendor master data to support accurate and efficient procurement activities.
Setting up inventory management processes, including goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfer, and physical inventory.
Creating and managing material master data to ensure accurate and standardized information on materials used in the organization.
Configuring pricing procedures and conditions for purchase orders, including discounts, taxes, and freight charges.
Integration: Ensuring seamless integration of the SAP MM module with other modules, such as finance (FI), sales and distribution (SD), and production planning (PP), for efficient data flow and business process automation.
Configuring release procedures to control the approval process for purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
Leveraging SAP MM reporting capabilities to analyze materials data, monitor inventory levels, and gain insights for procurement decision-making.
Material Requirement Planning (MRP): Implementing MRP to manage materials planning and ensure optimal inventory levels.

Type of contract: Direct hiring
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm (flexible)
Modality: This is a WFH Position, candidadates must live in Panamá
Financial compensation: Negotiable, according to final role
