  • Scout, identify, and evaluate in-licensing and out-licensing opportunities at the local level, aligned with regional coordination.
  • Build and maintain strong local networks with partners, distributors, and licensors to identify opportunities early.
  • Monitor competitive dynamics, therapeutic trends, regulatory changes, and market shifts to inform opportunity evaluation and strategy.
  • Develop end-to-end business cases, integrating market analysis, forecasts, pricing, costs, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure robust local and regional evaluation of opportunities originating from regional or global BD teams.
  • Conduct analytical review and pressure-testing of business cases to confirm strategic fit, market potential, and commercial viability.
  • Contribute to strong governance and structured decision-making across the full BD lifecycle.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and consolidate analyses for due diligence processes.
  • Facilitate effective information flow between local, regional, and global stakeholders.
  • Monitor KPIs, milestones, and contractual obligations for licensed assets, as applicable.
What you'll bring to the tableTo make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Pharmaceutical Marketing, or related fields.
  • Preferred: MBA or additional training in data analytics or strategy.
  • Previous experience in market analysis, consulting, finance, commercial excellence, or commercial operations.
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial and project management, specifically across pharma, OTC, consultancy or FMCG.
  • Proven ability to work with large datasets and analytical tools.
Financial modeling and sensitivity analysis.Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools.Knowledge of pharmaceutical markets, competitive dynamics, and regional trends.Strong written and verbal English skillsAbility to simplify complex information and communicate it effectively to various audiences.Collaborative mindset in regional and multicultural environments.Critical thinking, autonomy, and strong results orientation. * Potential to evolve toward senior stakeholder management responsibilitiesRodrigo Alonso Carrillo Rodriguez, the Hiring ManagerAbout GrünenthalGrünenthal is a global leader in pain management and related diseases.
