We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Accountant to support a Controller in a dynamic operational and financial environment. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in inventory and operations accounting, complemented by analytical capabilities to support financial decision-making. Operational Accounting Process sales and purchase invoices accurately and timely. Handle inventory accounting and ensure proper recognition of inventory costs aligned with supplier contracts, market conditions, and performance metrics. Monitor and report on operational costs of barges (OPEX). Co-lead monthly and annual financial closings. Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts. Ensure monthly reconciliation and maintenance of accounts for reporting and review. Uphold accounting controls by adhering to internal policies and procedures. Financial Analysis Support financial planning and analysis activities related to project performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights into cost drivers and profitability. Assist in preparing reports and dashboards for management review.RequisitosBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 3–5 years of experience in accounting roles within multinational companies. Proven experience in inventory and operations accounting. Strong Excel skills. Fluent in written and verbal English and Spanish. CPA certification is a plus. Highly motivated and eager to learn. Driven and proactive with a strong sense of ownership. Effective communicator across diverse teams. Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
