Financial Accountant Jr (Multinational)

• Operational Accounting
• Process sales and purchase invoices accurately and timely.
• Handle inventory accounting and ensure proper recognition of inventory costs aligned with supplier contracts, market conditions, and performance metrics.
• Monitor and report on operational costs of barges (OPEX).
• Co-lead monthly and annual financial closings.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Ensure monthly reconciliation and maintenance of accounts for reporting and review. Uphold accounting controls by adhering to internal policies and procedures.
• Financial Analysis
• Support financial planning and analysis activities related to project performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights into cost drivers and profitability.
• Assist in preparing reports and dashboards for management review.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting roles within multinational companies.
• Proven experience in inventory and operations accounting.
• Strong Excel skills. • Fluent in written and verbal English and Spanish.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• Highly motivated and eager to learn.
• Driven and proactive with a strong sense of ownership.
• Effective communicator across diverse teams.
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
